Double Helix (2025)

Double Helix is the first of Apolo's Kinetic Series. This piece is inspired by the movement of energy in the body during meditation. 

As the base spins, one half is traveling up and the other half is traveling down. The movement is a hypnotic eternal cycle of two opposing forces. This is yin and yang, positive and negative energies-- this is life. Always moving. What comes up must come down and vice versa.
